27th Ave/North Myrtle is a sand-bottomed beach break in North Myrtle Beach that peels both left and right. It tends to take a bigger swell than the rest of the area, and while it's a county-designated surfing spot, consistency here is only average.
When It Works
The break draws swell from southeast to south and is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft. It handles more size than nearby spots, and since a recent beach nourishment there's a good outside bar at low tide and a shorebreak up at high tide. When those sections link up, you can score longer rides.
Wind and Tide
Look for a north offshore wind. It works through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
Expect a crowded lineup whenever it's on. Skip it after rain, when stormwater outfalls push pollution into the water.

There's a car park with free parking, along with restrooms, showers, a surf shop, and lifeguard cover.
