The optimal swell size is around 2ft (0.6m), and it can handle larger sizes on a good day. The bottom consists of a mix of rock ledge and sand, which can add some variety to the ride. For the best experience, try to hit it at low to mid tide, and keep in mind that a north wind is preferable for shaping those waves.
