This spot is known for its laid-back vibe and is often less crowded than its bigger neighbor, making it a nice escape for those looking to surf without the hustle. It features a protected bay that adds to its appeal, especially for less experienced surfers looking to improve their skills.

This beach break is best suited for beginners and improvers, with waves usually around 1/3 the size of what you would find at Dominical. The optimal swell direction is from the Southwest, but it can also handle swells from the South and Northwest. The waves can range from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) and typically break over sand, which is ideal for those still working on their technique. Both left and right waves are available, and higher tides are preferable as they can help avoid some hidden rocks that are more pronounced at low tide. Wind coming from the east generally works well here.
