The best swell direction for Ervik is Northwest, with swells from the West and North also working. Waves can handle sizes around 2ft (about 0.6 meters) and typically break over a mix of boulders and sand. You'll get a mix of left and right waves here, which is great for varying your ride. Low to mid tide is preferred for the best results, and if you're a beginner, this spot is suitable for you, especially during more manageable conditions.

One thing to keep in mind is the presence of a submerged shipwreck and scattered rocks in the area. Be careful while paddling out. Additionally, respect the surrounding environment; there’s a burial ground in the vulnerable sand dunes, so stick to the established paths while you're there.
