Harlech to Barmouth is a long stretch of beginner-friendly beach on the North Wales coast. Waves break over sand as a beachbreak, peeling both left and right, so there is plenty of room to spread out and find a peak.

The beach draws swell from the southwest through west, with southwest swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft, small and forgiving enough to stay approachable.
