Overview
Hazuk Beach is a sandy beach break tucked at the base of some cliffs along the Tel Aviv coast. It serves up small, sloppy close-outs that peel both left and right, with plenty of open space for anyone happy to make the most of them.
When It Works
This one is a summer spot. It draws swell from west through north (W-N), with northwest the best match. The break is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft, and it holds up moderately consistently when the season lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for east offshore wind to tidy things up. The cliffs give no shelter from sideshore northwest winds, so those days turn messy quickly. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
With its forgiving, sloppy waves, Hazuk is a friendly option for beginners. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it's working.
Access
Entrance fees are a thing of the past, so Hazuk and the rest of the Tel Aviv beaches are now free to access.
