Jelly Babies is a consistent reef break that peels both left and right over live coral, off a pass closer to Anakao. The walls have a cruisy, forgiving feel, crumbling into workable shoulders, and the setup makes for easy photos from the boat.
When It Works
The wave draws swell from south through southwest, with southwest (SW) the best match. It's a genuinely consistent spot, reliably pulling in the south swells, and works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for east (E) offshore wind, ideally the morning offshores. It favours lower water, working through low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one is a good fit for intermediates, with crumbling walls and cutback shoulders that stay fun on all sorts of craft. Expect a busy lineup when it's on. If you're still finding your feet, a protected left breaks nearby on medium to large swells and is a friendlier option for beginners.
