Kerteh is a surf spot located along the coast that attracts surfers looking for a chill day on the water. It’s not a huge draw for pro surfers, but beginners will find it a pretty decent place to practice their skills. The optimal swell direction is NorthEast, but you can catch some action with swells from the North and East too. The waves mainly break over sand, creating a beach break that can offer both left and right rides. If you're planning to surf, the best time is during low to mid tide, and a SouthWest wind is preferable for the best conditions.
