This coast between Arrecife and Arrieta rarely works at all but strong N-E windswell can awaken a number of small wave spots. Most are rock scattered playa’s or the odd reef that work only on the rising tide and are all very fickle. Over development has brought hotels, apartments and harbours for a backdrop around Arrecife and Costa Teguise but further north the coast is barren and rocky with few surfable spots.

The only crowds will be the package holiday tourists, not surfers.
