Lighthouse/Cadis surf guide

Lighthouse/Cadis is a surf spot located on the north side of Point Piedras Blancas. It's known to have a heavy-duty, hollow beachbreak that picks up swells from various directions. The spot is often consistent and tends not to be too crowded, making it a decent place for surfers looking for powerful waves without a lot of competition. It's a spot that offers plenty of chances to catch some good rides.

The waves here are versatile, handling swell sizes as small as 2 ft (about 0.6 meters) and up. The optimal swell direction is from the Northwest, but it also works with swells coming from the South and North. You can expect both left and right waves as the beachbreak provides a bit of variety. The best conditions usually come with an east wind, and the spot works well at low, mid, and high tide, so you have some flexibility when planning your session.

To reach Lighthouse/Cadis, you’ll need to cross a field from Hwy 1, so just be mindful of your access. It's a nice spot for surfers who want a solid session without the hassle of overly crowded beaches. Just grab your gear and head in when the conditions look right!
