Overview
Naidoo Point is a right-hand point that breaks over a mix of boulders and sand. On small, clean swells it can throw nice, tubular rights, and if it isn't quite lining up you can check Fuller's nearby on the beachfront road for a similar set-up.
When It Works
The point draws swell from southwest through southeast, with southeast swell the best match. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency can be a little hit or miss, so it pays to watch the forecast for the windows when everything lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest offshore wind. The point can work across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers, and the lineup usually stays fairly quiet.
Access
There is a car park with free parking.
