When it comes to surf conditions, New Jetty works best with a southwest swell and can handle swell sizes up to 2 feet (about 0.6 meters) overhead. The waves typically break over sand and are known to form both left and right. The best wind direction is from the northeast, and you’ll find that it can produce decent surf at low, mid, and high tides, making it a versatile spot depending on the day.
