Off the Wall surf guide

Off the Wall is a surf spot that requires a bit of effort to reach. You'll need to make a walk down the cliff and prepare for a long paddle out to catch some waves. This spot breaks over a rocky ledge, and it's known for its super-fast barrels. It's not your easiest surf session, and the conditions can get tricky, especially with wind and tide playing a big role.

The surf here really shines with southeast swells, but it can also handle east and south swells. It's best for experienced surfers who know how to maneuver in challenging waters. The waves typically break right, and you can expect them to work best when the swell is around 4ft (about 1.2 meters). Low to mid tide is usually preferred, but be cautious; high tide can make entry and exit quite difficult. If you're out here, aim for northwest winds to get the best conditions. Just remember, itโ€™s not the most consistent spot, so be prepared for some variations.

While Off the Wall can be a thrilling spot for experts, it does come with its set of challenges, including some rips. Make sure you're confident in your skills before heading out, and keep an eye on the conditions, as they can change quickly.
