The optimal swell direction is Southeast, but it can also handle swells from the Northeast and South. For those looking to surf, the spot works well with swell sizes around 2 feet (0.6 meters). The preferable wind direction is from the West, and it can be surfed at low, mid, or high tide. While it’s not the most talked-about spot, you might find some longer rights if you hit it at the right moment.

Beyond the surf, there are some rondavels and camps located up the hill, offering decent places to stay if you want to extend your visit. Just keep in mind that this is not a high-profile surf destination, but it can still provide some enjoyable sessions when conditions align.
