Punta Blanca is a right-hand pointbreak and one of the Seven Sisters, a run of seven major points. It's a fine climb-and-drop right that peels over uneven reef and rewards surfers who can handle a proper point.
When It Works
The point draws swell from southwest through north, with west (W) swell the best match. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft. Consistency is moderate, so it pays to time your session for when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for north (N) offshore wind to groom the point. It can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The wave suits intermediate surfers, and you can expect a moderately busy lineup when it's on.
Access
Getting here takes a 4WD, and there's camping nearby if you want to stick around for the next swell.
