The waves here usually come in at around 2 feet (about 0.6 meters) and break over soft sand, creating some decent peaks on both the left and right. Little Raupo offers some protection from the north winds, but anything with a westerly direction can go offshore. For the best conditions, you're looking at low to mid tide, with northwest winds being ideal.
