Sa Mesa Longa is located on the exposed side of the Capo Mannu peninsula, just further north from Mandriola. This surf spot works best with swells coming from the Northwest, but you can also catch waves from the Southwest. It can handle swell sizes starting from 2 feet (about 0.6 meters), making it a decent option for intermediate surfers. The waves break both left and right, providing some variety. Make sure not to go out when there's onshore wind, as it can ruin the conditions. The optimal times to surf are during low to mid or even high tide, with southeast winds being ideal. Use the channel on the left of the little island to paddle out to the line-up.
