Sejorong surf guide

Sejorong is a surf spot located around a headland where the coast starts facing south. It's known for being quite exposed to swell and wind, which can affect the surfing conditions. The area can get pretty crowded, especially when the surf is good. The spot attracts local surfers and visitors looking for a decent wave, but it’s not the most consistent location, so timing your visit is key.

The optimal swell direction here is SouthWest, but you can also catch some action with south and west swells. It usually handles swell sizes around 3ft (about 0.9 meters). The waves break over live coral, forming right-hand reef breaks. Surfers generally prefer low to mid to high tide for the best conditions. The wind is best coming from the north, which helps to clean up the waves. This spot is suitable for intermediate surfers, as the waves can get a bit tricky and sectiony.

Further west of Sejorong, there’s an even better right reef pass, leading to miles of wilderness waves waiting for the SE trades to die down. If you’re looking for a surf adventure, be prepared to explore a bit beyond the main spot. Just keep in mind that the conditions can change, so it’s good to stay updated on the local weather and swell forecasts.
