Overview
Serapo is a 2 km stretch of beachbreak in the heart of Gaeta, with several easy peaks breaking over sand. The waves peel both left and right, and the water stays clean.
When It Works
Serapo draws swell from northwest through north to southeast (NW-N-SE), with southeast swell the best match. The beach is long enough to give you options depending on the direction: the north end comes to life on bigger northwest swells, while the south end switches on with southeast swell. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for north offshore wind. The beach can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
