South West Sea surf guide

South West Sea is a beach break located near the wreck of a fishing vessel that went aground in the mid-‘70s. This spot offers a relaxed atmosphere, making it a nice place to hang out and catch some waves. It’s not the most famous surf destination, but it’s got its own charm, and you’ll find fellow surfers looking for a consistent session.

The surf here is pretty steady. The optimal swell direction comes from the SouthWest, with additional swells coming in from the West. This spot can handle swell sizes starting from 1ft (about 0.3 meters), which makes it accessible for beginners. The waves tend to break over sand, producing both left and right rides. Whether the tide is low, mid, or high, you're likely to find something rideable, especially with favorable wind coming from the East.

Since it’s beginner-friendly, South West Sea is a great place to practice your skills. Just keep in mind that while it's consistent, the waves can be mediocre at times. Don't expect anything too epic, but it's still worth a visit if you're in the area and want to catch some waves.
