Overview
Spartivento is a left-hand point that peels over an uneven, shallow rock reef. On its day it can throw up short barrel sections, usually on small southeast swells when the wind is light or offshore. It also picks up swell well and can stay surfable when nearby spots have gone flat.
When It Works
The point draws swell from east through southeast (E-SE), with southeast (SE) the direction that suits it best. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft, giving you a broad window across both smaller and larger days. Consistency is moderate, so it pays to time your sessions for when the swell lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind to groom the face clean. The point can work through most of the tide, from low to high, though a rising tide is generally the better call.
Local Tips
Spartivento suits intermediate surfers. The lineup stays fairly quiet, so you can usually count on an uncrowded session.
Access
You'll find it along Route SS 106, south of Brancaleone Marina, with free roadside parking.
