The best conditions at Spartivento come with southeast swells, where the waves can get pretty fun. You can catch left-point waves here that might feature some barrel sections when the swell is around 2 feet (about 0.6 meters). While it's surfable with swells from east and southeast, the ideal wind is from the northwest. It works at any tide level - low, mid, or high - but most surfers find it suited for intermediate abilities.
