Surfable sizes start from about 2 feet (0.6 meters), which makes it accessible for intermediate surfers. The beach can handle all tide heights – low, mid, and high – but the preferred wind direction is from the south to keep things clean.

To get to Strathy, park by the graveyard at the top of the hill, and then it’s just a walk down the dunes to the beach. This setup makes it easy to access the surf without too much hassle.
