Surfing in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines centers on a compact, low-key scene spread across a handful of breaks on the main island of Saint Vincent, where reef setups near the capital sit alongside beachier waves further along the coast. Most of the documented surf falls into two areas. Around Kingstown, in the Saint George area, a cluster of reef breaks including 1st Reef, 3rd Reef and Middle Reef gives the country its most reliable waves. Further north near Georgetown, in the Charlotte area, Georgetown Playing Field and the Georgetown River mouth offer a different, beachier option away from the reefs.
