7 Presidents Street Park sits along the Monmouth Beach to Long Branch stretch, where tight jetties and old pilings hold some good waves. It's the pick of that stretch for smaller, varied jetty waves, breaking over sand and peeling both left and right.
When It Works
The park draws swell from northeast through east-southeast to south, with southeast the best match, and it will take all those directions, including northeast, at lower tides. Waves are usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft. Consistency is moderate, so count on worthwhile windows when the setup lines up rather than waves on tap.
Wind and Tide
Look for west offshore wind. It breaks on low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a friendly spot for beginners. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it works.
