Overview
Ain Diab is a sand-bottom beach break in the upmarket Ain Diab district of Casablanca, a lively stretch of clubs and discos that became Morocco's first blue flag beach in 2005. The banks serve up both lefts and rights.
When It Works
The beach pulls in swell from west to north and is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. South of town, the No.18 and 23 beaches host many of the contests, though the waves often line up better at La Reserve.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south offshore wind. It works through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The break is best suited to intermediate surfers.
