Overview
Angjarnsudden is a beach break that peels both left and right over a patchy mix of uneven reef and sand. It sits among the beachbreaks around Boda, a long drive north from the Oland bridge. Keep an eye out for the reefs across the bottom, and be aware that currents can sweep around the tip of the island.
When It Works
Angjarnsudden needs a southeast swell, or a big northeast one, to break. It draws swell from northeast through east-southeast to south (NE-ESE-S), with southeast (SE) the best match, and works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. It's very inconsistent, so it pays to catch it on the right day.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind. The beach can work across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.

Access
Getting here means a long drive north from the Oland bridge, and once you arrive there's free roadside parking.
