Boujdour is a right-hand reef break out on the Moroccan cape, with a decent and sometimes hollow righthander peeling over the reef in front of the monuments at the point. Beyond that main peak, more reef peaks line the exposed beach stretching north of town and around the port entrance, so there is room to spread out. The setting adds to the draw, with an old lighthouse, a working harbour, and a northwest-facing Corniche road looking out over the water.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southwest through north (SW-N), with a west (W) swell the best match for the righthander. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, breaking over a mix of uneven reef and sand. Waves show up reliably here, so it stays consistent.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast (SE) offshore wind to clean up the faces. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
