The spot is fairly secluded and offers a laid-back vibe, perfect for surfers looking to escape the crowds. The area around Brasiliene features some interesting local culture, with the locals engaged in daily games of chance at makeshift betting tables.

The surf at Brasiliene primarily breaks left over boulders, providing a fun ride for experienced surfers. The ideal conditions are when the swell comes from the southeast, but it can also handle east and south swells. The waves can range from 1ft (0.3m) to a solid 6ft (2m) depending on the conditions. Morning offshores from the north create nice waves, with a period of about 5-7 seconds. This spot is best suited for expert surfers since it can be challenging at times, especially with how it handles different tide heights – low, mid, and high tides are all acceptable.
