Briech is a consistent beachbreak on the Moroccan coast, breaking over sand and offering both lefts and rights. It's a wind-sensitive beach, so timing the conditions matters. A few rivermouths bring some pollution to the area, and if you're around in August, there's a music festival worth checking out. For a change of scenery, nearby Asilah has another long, open beachbreak just north of the port.
When It Works
Briech draws swell from west through north, with northwest the best match. It's usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, so it handles everything from small, playful days up to solid head-high surf. It breaks fairly consistently, but being wind-sensitive, the cleaner windows are what you're waiting for.
Wind and Tide
Look for an east offshore wind to groom the faces. The beach is best from mid to high tide, and a rising tide is generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers, with rideable lefts and rights when the sand banks and swell line up.

There's a car park with free parking, plus roadside parking if you'd rather pull up closer.
