Bus Stop, also known as Brue, is an ultra-long left-hand point that reels over boulders for up to 500 metres. It's a powerful, punishing wave that favours goofy-footers. There's an outside section that takes more size while sitting out of the strongest southwest winds. Experts chasing something more challenging can find it further round towards Arnol.
When It Works
The point draws swell from southwest through north (SW-N), with west (W) swell the best match. It works from 1.2 m / 4 ft to 4.6 m / 15 ft, and tends to be moderately consistent.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south (S) offshore wind to clean it up. The point breaks across low, mid and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a wave for experts. Expect a fairly quiet lineup when it's working.
Access
Access is the same as Barvas: drive round to the left by the bus. There's free parking, and the spot takes its name from the old green bus once used by wildlife rangers.
