Diams is a sand-bottomed beach break near Le Diamant, and it's really a shorebreak: the wave stands up and closes out quickly close to shore, so it works better for bodyboarding or a body bash than for long rides.
When It Works
It draws swell from northeast through southeast (NE-SE), with southeast swell the best match. The sandbanks throw up both lefts and rights, and the spot is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency is moderate, so it won't turn on every day, but there are workable windows when the swell lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest offshore wind to clean it up. It can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The wave is approachable for beginners, and the lineup usually stays fairly quiet.
Access
There's free roadside parking close by.
