Overview
Erikli is a shallow rivermouth bar near the town of Igneada, and one of the better waves in Türkiye's Thrace region. It breaks over sand and serves up short, thick rights alongside longer lefts.
When It Works
Erikli draws swell from the north through northeast, with a northeast (NE) swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.2 m / 4 ft, so you want enough size to get the bar firing without overwhelming it.
Wind and Tide
Look for a north (N) offshore wind to clean it up. The bar breaks through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The short, punchy rights and longer lefts suit intermediate surfers looking to link a few turns.
Access
There's free parking at the spot.
