Ferme aux Crocos, also known as Crocodile Farm, is a private beach resort located north of Libreville, accessible primarily via 4x4 vehicles. The route to this spot is straightforward, with a decent paved road leading to the site. Once you arrive, you’ll find a wide beach that offers a nice getaway from the estuary’s typically flat waters.

The surf at Ferme aux Crocos can be decent, especially when the conditions align. The waves come in from the south and southwest, handling swell sizes as small as 1 foot (about 0.3 meters), which is great for a relaxed session. The waves break over sand, creating beach breaks that can go left or right, depending on the setup of the day. For the best experience, it's recommended to catch these waves with a north-east wind and to surf during low, mid, or high tides. Just keep in mind that the shorebreak can be a bit sloppy at times.
