Overview
Goat Wash is a black sand beachbreak just north of Domoni, peaky and punchy with the odd hollow section. It's the most consistent spot in the area, largely because the rocky point shelters it from south winds. A tidy right tends to show up at lower water, tucked in behind that point.
When It Works
The break works over a mix of boulders and sand and picks up swell from northeast through southeast, with a northeast (NE) swell the best match. Both lefts and rights are on offer, and it's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency is moderate overall, but the wind protection keeps it breaking more often than most spots nearby.
Wind and Tide
Look for west (W) offshore wind; summer northeasterlies are the main thing that spoils it. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
