Igoda is a south-facing beachbreak that comes into its own at the eastern end, where a rivermouth in front of the rocks sets up really good walls over sand. It picks up plenty of swell and peels both left and right.
When It Works
The bank draws swell from east through south to southwest (E-S-SW), with southeast (SE) the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, and stays reliable when the swell is running, with the most consistent surf through summer.
Wind and Tide
Look for north (N) offshore wind to hold the walls clean, and light northeast or northwest berg winds groom it just as well. It breaks across low, mid, and high tide, though a rising tide is generally the better call.
Local Tips
The forgiving beachbreak walls make this a friendly spot for beginners. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it turns on.
