Infinities serves up long, near-perfect lefts tucked into the southwest corner at Pakala. It's a point break peeling over an uneven reef, and it comes into its own on the bigger summer south swells.
When It Works
The point draws swell from south through west-southwest to northwest, with southeast (SE) the best match. It's usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 3 m / 10 ft, and those bigger summer south swells are what really light it up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northeast (NE) offshore wind. The reef can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.

At heart this is an intermediate wave. Sharks, locals, and a sharp reef all help keep the crowd in check, so take a moment to read the lineup before paddling out. If it isn't clicking for you, intermediates often find more joy back at Salt Ponds.
