Surf: The jetties in the fishing port of Iztapa build up the sand on the east side, offering longer, hollower waves on chunkier SW swells. Peaks also form between the jetties, offering a protected option in bigger swells. There’s more peaks around, it just depends on whether the sand is in otherwise it’ll be close-out city. Higher tides needed, rips guaranteed Environment: Handles some size and is rarely crowded (3/10). The river can bring some serious pollution after rains.
