Overview
Jabal Sur is a mellow right-hand point that breaks over sand, tucked beneath a spectacular sheltering bluff with an active fishing village right alongside. Expect long, easygoing rights when it lines up.
When It Works
The point comes to life on monsoon swell, feeding on energy from the south to southwest. It is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, delivering the long, mellow walls the spot is known for.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest offshore wind to groom the faces. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
