The spot works best when the swell is around 3 feet (about 0.9 meters) and breaks over an uneven reef, creating mainly left point waves. The wind is best from the Southwest, and the waves can be surfed at low, mid, or high tide. Keep in mind that the surf is generally more suited for intermediate surfers, and you’ll want the waves to be at least waist high to safely clear the rocks.
