Overview
KH is a left-hand reef break on an almost east-facing stretch of coast. It has two distinct take-off spots that link up into one longer ride once the swell and tide get bigger. The wave breaks over dead coral, so it rewards a bit of care and suits surfers who are already comfortable on a reef.
When It Works
KH draws swell from southwest to southeast, giving it a reasonably wide window to pick up energy. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, so there is room for both mellow sessions and more substantial days. On the bigger end of that range the two peaks start connecting, turning the separate take-offs into a longer wall.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest offshore wind to clean up the face. The reef can work across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.

This is a solid pick for intermediate surfers looking for a rippable left without stepping up to expert-only conditions.
