La Conchita Beach is a fun, peaky beachbreak just south of Rincon, tucked right alongside the highway. It breaks both left and right over sand and can get hollow.
When It Works
The break draws swell from southwest through northwest, with a west swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft and makes a solid summertime alternative when the rest of the coast goes quiet. Consistency is moderate, so it pays to time your session to when the swell lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for a northeast offshore wind. It works on mid to high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers. The lineup stays fairly quiet, with plenty of room to spread out.
