La Station surf guide

La Station is a surf spot located near Le Moule. Itโ€™s known for its powerful waves that attract experienced surfers. The spot draws in a decent crowd due to its proximity to the town, but the overall vibe remains friendly and chill.

When it comes to surfing, La Station is not for the faint of heart. The waves are best surfed by experts, with fast barrels that can be tricky, especially on moderate swells coming from the North to East. The ideal swell size is around 4 feet (approximately 1.2 meters), which breaks over uneven reef and generally provides right-handers. For the best experience, aim to catch it during low, mid, or high tides, particularly when the wind is coming from the South.

While the swell direction is optimal at Northeast, itโ€™s good to remember that it can handle North and East swells as well. Just be prepared for some intense sections, as they can be scary at times, but also rewarding for skilled surfers looking for a challenge.
