Lulu’s Bend is a surf spot located near the Shangri-La Fijian Resort and Spa, making it a convenient option for surfers staying in the area. It’s a deep bay that offers a shorter paddle or boat ride compared to nearby Natadola. The spot has earned a bit of a reputation, often being referred to as "Fijian" due to its proximity to the resort.

This spot works best with south swell and is suitable for experienced surfers only. The waves break over live coral, producing both left and right reef waves. The north side usually peaks and hisses across the reef, while the south side tends to shut down on almost dry reef. Ideal conditions occur with swells around 3ft (0.9m) and can handle sizes from 3ft (0.9m) and above. For the best experience, aim for mid to high tides and keep an eye on the wind; a north-east breeze works well for catching those lefts, while any north wind is good for the rights.
