Maresciallo is a long, fast right-hand point break on Sant'Antioco, a small island linked to Sardinia by a bridge off its southwest tip. It peels over an uneven reef and throws out very long, fast right-handers as long as the wind stays off it. You'll find it about 1 km north of Calasetta beach, with other good waves breaking nearby.
When It Works
Maresciallo is well exposed to west and southwest swells and takes swell from southwest through northwest (SW-NW), with southwest (SW) the best match. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for an east (E) offshore wind to clean it up. It can work through most of the tide, though a rising tide is generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is a wave for intermediate surfers, and the lineup tends to stay uncrowded. If you feel like moving around, there are other nice waves breaking close by.

Getting in and out is easy, and there's free parking.
