Overview
Marley's is a slab reef at Palm Beach, the closest break to Valletta. It breaks over a rock ledge and throws up both lefts and rights along a narrow beach, with shallow sections to watch on the inside.
When It Works
Marley's draws swell from north through east, with northeast (NE) swell the best match. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, and it can be somewhat inconsistent, so it pays to time your session for when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south (S) offshore wind. The reef can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The wave suits intermediate surfers, and the lineup tends to stay quiet. Pack booties for the sharper rocks on the inside.
