The bank draws swell from northeast through east-southeast to south (NE-ESE-S), with an east (E) swell the best match. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3 m / 10 ft, so there's a wide window of rideable size to play with. Consistency is a strong point here, so you can usually count on finding something to ride when the swell is in.
Wind and Tide
Look for west (W) offshore wind to clean up the faces. The break handles low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call. Keep an eye on the tide when the swell is small, though, as a high tide will flatten it out.
