The beach draws swell from west to north (W-N), and a northwest swell is what really gets the rights going. It stays workable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft. Consistency is moderate, lower than the surrounding spots, so expect fewer clean days here but worthwhile windows when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast (SE) offshore wind to clean things up. The beach works on low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call, and the rights tend to come alive at the lower tides on a northwest swell.
Local Tips
Milady is a good option for beginners who don't mind the odd rock popping up. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it works, though the lower consistency tends to keep crowds lighter than at nearby breaks.

Getting in is easy, with a beach car park offering free parking plus roadside spots. You'll find restrooms, showers, a lifeguard, and a surf school on hand. Be aware that a water treatment plant nearby may affect water quality.
