Overview
Muddy's is a solid, wedgy left-hander breaking over live coral out on the southwest tip of the island, where the most swell tends to show. When it lines up, it barrels hard through the sections.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from south to west, with southwest (SW) the direction that lines it up best. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 3.7 m / 12 ft, so there's a wide window from smaller days up to serious size. Consistency is moderate: not every session turns on, but it delivers often enough to be worth checking.
Wind and Tide
Look for northeast (NE) offshore wind to clean it up. The reef works through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is an expert-level wave that suits confident surfers comfortable on a hard-breaking reef. The lineup usually stays fairly quiet.
