N'Dana is a super-fun left that peels off the northwest point, breaking over a reef of dead coral. The main wall bends through several shifting sections, and there's more to explore around the headland, where a handful of fun peaks and another left run along the exposed west coast. It works year round and picks up most swells, so there's usually something on offer.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southwest to west (SW-W), and a west (W) swell is the best match. It's usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 3 m / 10 ft. Consistency is moderate, so it won't turn on every day, but the swell window is wide enough to find plenty of workable sessions.
Wind and Tide
It's offshore on a southeast (SE) wind, and there's a handy wind window here with a choice of easterly or southerly directions. The reef breaks across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is an intermediate-friendly left, and the lineup stays quiet, so you'll rarely have to share it with much of a crowd.
