The waves at Nungas break over an uneven reef and can handle swell sizes starting from about 2ft (0.6m). The optimal swell direction is southwest, but it also works well with south and southwest swells. These waves are generally meant for expert surfers, as they can offer a mix of sections that allow for both steep drops and longer rides.
